Reply Hi Thea, Soooo good! I was introduced to aebleskivers when I joined my husbands family. PENNY, Kochi, Kerala, INDIA Fill each cup approximately 2/3 full with batter. Then fold through the beaten egg whites, one-third at a time. In a measuring cup, stir together almond milk, oil and egg replacer mixture.
I've had different versions over the years. For this purpose, you can use a sheet pan and bake the Aebleskiver (use the same batter).
Thanks so much for the helpful tip about filling with a bit extra batter, they are perfect! But any hint of yolk, or fat on your fingers when handling, or residual fat on your whisk will make the whole thing fail. I was fortunate to have inherited the well seasoned pan ?
